Hair has been a life-long passion for Amanda Theodoratou.

 

Having initially trained and qualified in Northampton, England, Amanda then honed her craft in Bournemouth and London, before deciding to cast here creative skills and sharp eye for detail farther afield, thus spending 5 years working as a Hair Stylist aboard luxury cruise liners as they circumnavigated the globe.
 

It was while cruising the high seas that Amanda met her (Greek) husband and thus swapped the ocean waves for a very different life on a relatively small and at the time, virtually unknown, Greek island called Kefalonia in the Ionian Islands, Greece.

 

Since then, Amanda has established herself as one of the most sought after and highly respected Wedding Hair designers on the islands of Kefalonia and neighbouring island of Ithaca, both noted for their spectacular, outstanding beauty, providing stunning backdrops for many weddings every year.

 

Her professionalism, meticulous attention to detail and ability to create unique, individual styles ranging from classic wedding chic to contemporary elegance, means she has become the ‘Go To’ Wedding Hair specialist for many of the islands leading Wedding Planners and Photographers.
 

Along with her hair skills, it is also Amanda’s lively, approachable and down-to-earth, fun personality that ensures she remains constantly in demand, through word of mouth and recommendations, putting many Brides, Bridal Parties and Grooms at ease on the big day with her relaxed approach and treating each and every client as the individuals they are.

 

Amanda’s approach to designing the perfect, dream wedding hair commences with an initial consultation and trial. Amanda will to start to visualise and design the perfect style or styles for the Bride and Bridal Party, taking into account the Brides personality and own individual style as well as other important aspects of the special day, such as the Bridal Gown, flowers and any special theme that can be also be translated into the design of the hair, working with you until both parties are happy with the finalised design for the big day.

 

As well as Bridal Hair, Amanda is will also style hair for the Bridal Party, the Groom, Best Men and any of your wedding guests if they so wish.

 

Amanda is Bi-Lingual in English and Greek. She is based in Kefalonia during the Summer season (April to October) and during the months of November to March is available for bookings either in Greece or the UK. As well as her passon for hair, Amanda's creative creative skills also extend to designing and hand-knitting one-off, bespoke handbags, gardening, cooking and looking after her gorgeous Greek rescue dog, Irma.
